More and more people are hearing about our little film. We were excited that CCN Sunrise, a morning news show in Pasadena, interviewed Larissa Lam recently about the film and her suicide prevention campaign. Asian American magazine, Inheritance, also did a wonderful feature interview with Larissa Lam and Baldwin Chiu in their October issue about the American Dream and Finding Cleveland fit perfectly into that theme.

You can find those new interviews posted on our Media page.

It was another packed house at the Finding Cleveland Experience hosted by the South Pasadena Library and co-sponsored by the South Pasadena Chinese American Club and Friends of the Library. South Pasadena Councilmember Robert Joe made a special presentation to Larissa Lam and Baldwin Chiu bestowing special city coins in recognition of their achievements. See more photos from the event and article in the South Pasadena Review here.

Larissa traveled to Dallas to take part in the Asian Film Festival of Dallas where Finding Cleveland was screening with an excellent group of documentaries. We were honored to be named the winner of the Jury Prize by their judging panel. While at the festival, Larissa was also interviewed by Selig Film News and The Clubhouse Podcast about our film. You can check out one of the interviews below.

Finding Cleveland won the Cine Asian Award for Outstanding Film at the 21st annual Sacramento International Film Festival. This award has extra special meaning since it’s from Baldwin Chiu’s hometown of Sacramento. There were so many amazing, high-caliber films at this festival that this was an unexpected honor for our humble little film.
